Belonging at even hand is not access, it is agreement about how a life should be spent. Most rooms are sorted by industry, money or follower count. This one is sorted by whether you are actually present when you are somewhere.

What the room is filtered for

• Curiosity: you still ask questions you do not already know the answer to.
• Agency: when something in your life is wrong, you assume it is yours to change.
• Contrarianism: you are willing to be the only person at the table not doing the normal thing.
• Appetite for discomfort: you have chosen a hard thing on purpose in the last year.
• Generosity: you give more to a room than you take from it.

What this is not

• Not a networking group.
• Not a content community: no feed, no daily thread, nothing to keep up with.
• Not a wellness circle: no practice to adopt, no belief required.
• Not a paid membership: joining is free.

The terms

You get dates, cities and new formats before they are public, the journal as it is written, and an invitation when a dinner or gathering opens near you. We ask two things: turn up when you say you will, and put the phone away when you are in the room. Leaving is one click.
